Company Formation in Kuwait
Incorporation and investment approvals in Kuwait, handled by our head office in Kuwait City.
Company formation in Kuwait
Kuwait Companies Law No. 1 of 2016 governs company forms, including the limited liability company (WLL) and the Kuwaiti shareholding company (KSC). A proposed foreign investment may also follow a distinct route under Law No. 116 of 2013 and Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) rules, including licensing of foreign-company branches and representative offices. Eligibility, excluded activities and current procedures are checked for the particular project.
Choosing the route
The right structure depends on the investor, the activity and how the business will operate. We map ownership, capital, signing authority and the approvals sequence before filing, and check whether a KDIPA route applies to a foreign investor. An overseas professional partner is not a client's investment license.
