Allocate loss and delay risk
Agree who reports damage or delay, what evidence is kept, and how insurance and liability are reviewed.
Plan disruption and exit
Set escalation contacts, notice steps, substitute transport, and a practical handover of records.
For example, if cargo was recorded as sound at the airport but damaged at the warehouse, which handover record establishes its condition? Can the notice window in the contract realistically be met?
